In March 2025, the UVA community lost Nico Ramos-Esteban. A first year at UVA, we were blessed to know Nico and have him involved with Campus Outreach. Nico was always excited to dive into God’s Word at our weekly Bible studies. His desire to know the Lord, follow after him and share his faith with others was unique and a tremendous encouragement to the CO community. Particularly, Nico was known for the way he treated others. Many remember Nico for seeing, caring and putting others above himself. He leaves behind a legacy of a bright smile and a presence that lifted the spirits of everyone he surrounded.

We hope to honor Nico’s life and legacy in everything that we do. We continue grieve his loss while we hope in Christ to “wipe away every tear” and defeat death once and for all at his return (Rev. 21:4).
